Lab Schedule, Time Sign-Up + Training


NEW TIL POLICY BEGINNING FALL 2022

STUDENTS USING THE TIL will now need to make individual reservations for machines in the lab. Reservations can be made using the scheduling link found below, or through CANVAS > DAAP Concierge

BEFORE COMING TO THE FTC LABS: PLEASE FOLLOW THE COVID 19 PROTOCOL. Students entering the DAAP building should use UCs COVID check app (https://www.uc.edu/publichealth/return-to-campus-guide/covid-check-app.html), perform Daily Health Checks and self-report if diagnosed with COVID-19. All students should monitor UC’s public health guidance for updates on policies and guidelines for the UC community: https://www.uc.edu/publichealth.html. LAB HOURS: FALL 2022

Fall lab hours will end on Friday 12/2/22. FTC labs will reopen to students at the start of Spring 2023 semester on January 9.

SIGN-UP for Lab Training


FALL 2022: 1 hour orientation sessions for The Natalie Altieri Apparel Production Lab will be held every Thursday and Friday at 3PM, and The Evelyn Burgoyne Textile Innovation Lab training sessions will be held every Tuesday at 1PM. (Training is no longer needed for the WFL).


Once you complete the orientation session, you will

-complete a training activity

-an FTC lab team member will issue your badge after checking your work. (please keep your badge handy)

-and CONGRATS! —you'll have access to use the labs (only during open lab hours, of course).


Students may sign up to use the facilities by using the links below or in CANVAS > DAAP Concierge.

NOTE: Students MUST enrolled in or have taken FASH1011: Intro to Sewing before signing up for APL Lab training.

Faculty and student orientation is required to use the Fashion Technology Center lab spaces.
